I'm selling my older HP 2000 notebook pc and spending some extra cash to buy this lenovo laptop, but is it worth it? Can it satisfy most gaming needs?
I really only need the pc for gaming, and I'm only on a $600-700 dollar budget, and can't build it.
Would this be able to play all the newest games at reasonable graphics and fps?

If you won't be taking the laptop to school/work/anywhere then I would not bother. If you just need to play games, buy a PC with a decent GPU and Windows 7. I am sure you can do it for under $700. You could hire someone you trust to buy the parts and put it together for you.

I have Windows 8 and found not all games worked, although that could be attributed to missing drivers. I have tried Crysis and COD4 on a laptop with no graphics card and they did not run. They stuttered by, a couple of frames a second. Older games that did not recommend a graphics card work fine. Maybe you could get by with medium/low settings on the more graphically demanding games with that laptop.
