I recently upgraded to Windows Vista 64, from Windows XP. I bought new HDs for the system build, but I have an internal Seagate drive (Sata) with a lot of data that I need transfered to my new WD 1 TB (new backup drive). Unforunately, when I install the old Sata Drive, Vista loads drivers, mounts the disk, and then tells me I have a blank 300GB drive.
Is there a way to get Vista to recognize the partitions I already have on this drive? Seagates drive install software was relatively unhelpful.
