If you were concerned about heat in your PSU, what I do for my own, is I would get a high output 80mm or 120mm fan and mount it in the spot directly under your PSU that most case makers put there for exhaust to help create a breeze under your PSU so it gets a little more cool air.
I wanted to know the output of the fan so I could calculate for negative pressure in the case. Since the fan is thermostatically controlled I won't include it in my output numbers unless I seal all misc. air gaps and holes in my case.
Definitely an engineer. Don't worr, I'm one too. You should also determine whether the fan blowing through your CPU heatsink is laminar or turbulent. LOL.
I'm a total dork.
Nope, not an engineer. I'm just trying to learn some stuff to make my new build as efficient as possible. So that laminar/turbulent thing doesn't make any sense. Sorry.
------------------------------Yes, I've calibrated SpeedFan!
