thats what will be called the Q6400 for us. I hae only seen it referenced a few times and can't find many sites that sell it but trust me the Q6600 is worth it. Best way to see if it will work is check the mobo vendors CPU support page.

Id suggest paying the extra for the Q6600 wait for the new Yorkfields OR ask yourself if you need a quad core and maybe look at a Duo?

Which will also be known as the C2Q Q6400 to us consumers. I just saw my mobo has support for it. Although I have yet to see many online in the stores but I guess it will be a lower end quad core set around ~$200? Maybe to compete against the Phenom 9500.
