ok ive changed my build list to be cheaper than before, i left out the monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse. i will get those later on, all im shooting for is the basic components i need to build a decent computer. it will be used mostly for Gaming and surfing the web. all though i do want to be able to run Crysis on med to high settings.
QFT there(Psycho). The 3850 512 or 3870 are also good choices.
Get 4GB RAM, 80 bucks can get you some pretty decent 2x2GB kits.
You don't need a E6750, the lower models are just as good-with in 10% perf, and can easily be overclocked to and beyond 6750. The Price/Perf just goes downhill the higher model you go up.
I wouldn't understand why you would want a sound card under such a budget... unless you're doing some serious **** then integrated is good enough.

i dont know loser, i think the E6750 is a sweet spot, it replaced the E6600 a while back. It has/will be replaced by the E8400 but for the impatient its still a kick ass choice.
sound card isnt the best choice though, motherboards do a great job of that.
i didnt click all the links to see your system (i didnt click any actually), its bothersome. i prefer to see the names (i do not think i am alone either)
Okay here is what I'd change to keep close $1 k and have a better gaming rig.
CPU - $175
e6550 Just as good as e6750 and cheaper, you can OC it later, if you think you need more speed.
GPU - $250
3rd or 4th from the top GPU out there and good price.

Drop sound card and aftermarket CPU HSF. You can OC quite well on stock CPU cooler. This $65 difference goes into GPU upgrade. This setup would give you better bang for the buck w/out really needing to OC CPU out the gate.
