Im looking at buying the Asus M3A32MVP Deluxe WiFi motherboard, befor i saw that board i was thinking about the Crosshair. Ill be running 4gig of OCZ memory. But im not sure what CPU I should get. I know that the Phenoms are still shipping with the bug so maybe a Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Also would like a couple ideas for a power supply. Thanks

If you decide for an AM2 socket (as opposed to Intel's offering that is), I would recommend X2 5000+ BE. You should get at least 3.0Ghz out of it (with overclocking) with stock voltage. It should not only perform similar to 6400+, it also runs a lot cooler.

EDIT: As for PSU, I would recommend Seasonic PSUs. Use the following tools to determine how much wattage you need.

As adlertheman said I would wait for the B3 stepping for sure.

and for a psu I would recommend the Corsair HX620 or TX750 I have 2 HX620 and I really do love em they are really silent, and I liked the fact that they have cables modular. So I do,nt have all those unused wires in my case.

The TX750 has 4 8 pin connectors so that would be nice for the future GPU cards like the 3870 X2.

Yo mamma is on the money, I have this board w a 5000+BE I like it very much. The bois will allow you to overclock the CPU with just a click. Mine is oc'ed to 3.12 and I have not spent much time trying to tweak it. I got mine with the idea of getting a Phenom when they get some wrinkles ironed out.
