Reusing some old kit, wonder if you can confirm which is faster for gaming...

1. GeForce 3 Ti200 64Mb, or
2. nVidia MX440SE 64Mb

Don't seem to be mentioned on GFX comparison charts.

Thanks

Geforce 3

Inglburt is right. The 440SE is just a 'special' Geforce 2, if I remember correctly.

Geforce 3. I had one of those a while back...

Anything with MX = cut-down piece of garbage. GF3 ftw!

I think the MX440SE is Geforce 4 series, and is DirectX 8.1. The Geforce 3 is DirectX 8.0. Seems like you could get a $20 video card now that would DESTROY both of these cards.

I had a Geforece 2 MX400, so what is after the MX doesn't seem to imply any particular generation. Note: GF2 sucks.

According to that, the GF4 was never released.

Alot of older cards come up like that.
It's just a handy quick reference comparison.

Wrong, despite the fact of the geforce 4 mx 440se being from the geforce 4 generation, its nothing more than a geforce 2 with other name...it's direct x 7.
I have a geforce ti200 128 mb and a gf4mx 440 128mb, and the geforce 3 smokes the gf4 mx in dx8 or higher games.
