OK. Basically I've already decided that a 3850 is probably my best bet for a new graphics card given budget and usage. I just wanted to know what differences there are between different manufacturers' cards? Obviously some come with more memory, passive cooling, or pre-OC'ed, but besides this there still seems to be a huge range of prices. Can anyone tell me why or recommend one of the best?

Cheers

They all have thier own little stradegies, i recomend the powercolour blue, or a ICEQ cooled one, they will let you get the best outa the card with a decent overclock. Other than that, look at the accesories and as you said overclock etc.
