So far in my research on newegg/amazon/google i've come to notice WD's name being thrown around. TLER seems to be the big factor here.
Now im all for spending a decent amount of money on something so critical, but is the RE series all its cracked up to be? They all consistently have great ratings on newegg, but sadly most of the older ones that are cheap have been discontinued. Would anyone here reccomend an alternative to TLER?

So guys, what would you raid 5 with?

And also, if needed to note: i will be using this to stream hd content to my ps3, hence the need for tons of storage.

Thanks!!!!!

if you want good speed/price, try 640/1000gig wd black. The 750 are more expensive per mb.
