Hey guys, here's my first pc: http://www.tigerdirect.com/sectors [...] c=New%20PC

I was wondering if there's parts I should add such as fans. Also, I have read multiple opinions on my GPU. Sometimes I hear the 8800 GT 512 is a much better value but it tends to run hot while the GTS 512 is cool on overclockable. My budget is $1500 shipped. Any input would be great. Thanks everyone

8800GT is fine if you don't mind lower video settings in games. Personally, I would've gone with GTS 512 if it were available then. I like to max things out. Yup, the dual-slot cooling cools better & extends the longevity of the card & gives you a bit of headroom for overclocking. GTS 512 is faster at higher resolutions. Plus, new games are always more GPU/CPU-hungry.

IMO, the Linksys WIFI G card is overpriced. G is on the way out. N is the new kid. I'd get an N if you have an N router. While it's true that it is much faster than 5Mbps DSL/cable, but the speed can drop a lot due to interference.

Swap that cpu cooler out for either Cooler Master Gemini II or OCZ Vindicator. Ditch the Thermal Compound.

Your list lacks a cpu & mobo. This is not a bad deal:

XFX nForce 680i LT SLI, C2Q Q6600, 2GB DDR2 Only $399.99*

Looks like deal to me. I do not see anything missing, unless you do not already have a mouse.
