Video problem

my video card died recently and i went out and bought a new one and everytime i install the drivers to the new card (XFX Geforce 8600 GTS) i get to the windows xp loading screen and then the screen just goes blank. the only way to get video again is to boot up in safe mode and delete the drivers. i have talked to about 10 different tech support people and cant find out the problem. i have reformatted my computer, tried 4 diffrent versions of drivers as well as 3 different cards, ive updated my motherboard bios, got a new power supply with plenty of amps on the 12v, etc. any help would be appreciated as this is driving me crazy. thanks in advance.

Tough problem...

Try to remove all non-essential components ie : pci cards, usb device,
all but one memory stick and so on... and try it again.

It could be another device causing the trouble.
