Striker Extreme, E8400

Hi all,

A buddy of mine just bought a Asus Striker Extreme and the only processor he has is an E8400 I know it supports it with a bios update but will he be able to get into bios to update it ie asus ez flash with the e8400 in as that is all we both have for lga 775 cpus or is he gonna have to buy a celeron to put in there to make it work to update the bios.

My Maximus Formula required a bios update with a friends Q6600 before i could use my E8400... It all depends on what bios that board is shipping with now. You can always try it though (I know it's a pain in the ass to reinstall your parts if it doesnt work).
