I think that psu is a tier 4 unit on this list: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forum [...] p?t=108088

I would suggest a tier 1 or 2 unit of about 500w, depending on how much those unknown ati vga cards require.

High efficiency, low amount of ripple on the rails, a 5 year warranty and a couple of decent reviews, you decide.

I would go with a Corsair 520HX or 550VX. Remember its not always about the Watts. Its about the # of amps on the +12 rail(s).

This is an area where REPUTATION has a huge impact. Since Coolermaster put out some questionable PSUs in years past, people will look at them with a jaundiced eye well into the future. If you check xtremesystems you'll see that some brands of PSUs are ok for over 600w, but not to buy the lower watt ones(different manufacturers). If you have to seach a PSU maker for a specific model and then check that specific model and try to get reviews it flat out sucks. Rosewill makes some pretty decent PSUs now also, but it's not a brand i'd recommend just because a few models are put together pretty well. Corsair on the other hand got into the PSU business and has taken care to make sure each model it well manufactuered and all have gotten excellent reviews. Same goes for PC Power and Cooling (recently purchased by OCZ). If the Canucks give it a "4.5 dam good value" the CoolerMaster is probably a great buy, but i can certainly understand why people would shy away from recommending the brand
