New to the forums and kinda in a loophole.
Purchased an asus maximus extreme with 2gigs corsair dominator ddr3 1800mhz 7-7-7-20 along with an intel Q6600 go.
I would like to put this together tonight but ive been looking around other forums and here and looks like people are having loads of mem problems with asus boards. Just wondering if anyone here has some advice for initial settings when installing this memory with this board. Seems that on initial startup the board has everything on auto which i dont think will work but does anyone know the bios settings for this memory? im going to put 1 stick in and see what happens first but im pretty much guessing ill have issues.
