My first 3Dmark 06 score

I just ran 3d mark 06 for the first time and got a score of 11897, which on the comparisons of all systems seems to be near the top end but on similar systems is in the middle.

Is this result good?

My spec is:

E6400 @3ghz
2gb corsair xms2 8500
8800GT
Abit Ab9

Ya, not bad, right where it should be. I got a E6600 and a 8800GT, both overclocked a good bit. I'm at 12900 or so.

My friend ran it on his pc...30mins later he got 59.

Probably because he couldn't do most of the tests.

lol im glad i got better than 59 hahahah, the cpu test must have been frightful.

Did the cpu test go slowly for every1 else? I was a bit surprised it was so slow lol

I was getting less than 1 frames per second during the CPU test.

That's not saying much though, since I have a single-core AMD 2000+ @ 1.6 ghz.

Going so slow that you were going backwards I suppose.

The CPU test is illegible for me! It does not move at all, stuck at 0 frames! Everything else is high.

same here. i was getting like 1.2 fps for some reason. don't know why

CPU test runs the CPU as if it were processing the graphics. Goes to show the differences how the Processors are designed for their specific task, GPU vs CPU.

I got 1-3 Fps with q6600, It simply isn't a GPU...

AMD should integrate some of that ATI/GPU knowledge into the CPU...
