Asus 8800GT 512 MB - Surprised we're not Hearing More

i hear people saying great things about the 8800GT,
and it seems like most of the prices for 8800GT cards
are more than $249.

Asus has a good reputation, and they have one
of the lowest prices for an 8800GT.

Is there a problem with their 8800GT card ?

No. $249 isn't the lowest priced. Newegg is cheaper, at $239.

Prices for Nvidia cards have been going down pretty steadily. You can now find the GT for $240 on Newegg (as mentioned above).

You can even the GTS (G92) for $310, a price that many people were gladly paying for the GT a month ago.

And Asus is not that good either... especially for graphics cards. If you want good nvidia brands try EVGA, XFX, or BFG. (The first two being the best of all)
