my laptop keeps giving an error message saying windows can not start because files missing or corrupt! what should i do because i have no disk to install

Start by providing Computer Make / Model. - There are recovery procedures per MFG.

Try to boot into safe mode (F8 key during startup) to see if you can Windows System Restore to a date prior to the error occuring.
