As a result of applying the latest FIRMWARE, are owners so far satisfied bricking has stopped for the moment?

Witty pseudo-Mfgr name coined by me.

In many cases, the bricking occurred as a result of the owners trying to flash their drives with the wrong firmware.

I'm in the market for 2 x 1.5 TB Seagate drives (Raid 5) and read an opinion elsewhere that these models haven't seemed to encounter the bricking events.
