will this cpu cooler fit on this mobo

hi guys... through past experiences i had problems buying a cpu cooler then finding out that the cpu coolers moutning bracket doesnt fit the motherboard.... so just to be safe...can u guys take a look and check if it will fit.... thanx in advance...

It should be fine as long as you don't have any real tall RAM sticks, though may I recommend a different cooler? That one kind of... well it sucks.

nahhhhhhhh get a xigmatek HDT-S1283 and the retention plate!! TRUE is old tech... and the duorb might look good but it has horrible cooling performance LOL

Nothing wrong with picking a cooler that you think looks good. You don't have to have the best performer, but I agree that that one is probably not the best choice. Pretty pricey for what you get as well.

well for whatever it it worth,, i am using an arctic cooler 64 pro on my am2 mobo,you have to reverse the clip as indicated in the instructions,,and it may interfere with the first two ram slots,just use the next two,i guess it all depends on the airflow in your case,that should be your prime consideration,getting it out of the case as quick as possible,all else flows [??] from that..:>)
