Razer Copperhead mouse lag in games. help pls.

Hi guys.

The copperhead will lag significantly with every mouse movement, mouse lag or deceleration or whatever you call it. It will just stop lagging when I stop moving the mouse.

Anyway i'm using , p4 dual core2.8ghz, 2.5gb RAM, 80gbHD, MSI mobo with onboard sound (prolly the cause) , Geforece 7600gt.

Copperhead setting is - polling rate 500hz, dpi 1500.

I've used a standard cheap MS optical mouse and there was no problem.

I've tried reinstalling the driver and the problem is still apparent.

Any help would be great.

Is the usb driver installed properly as if it were running on USB 1 it could cause slowdown.

try to solve any probllem is understand what is different between the good and fault:
Do both mouse use connection( usb or ps2)?
if you use copperhead on another compuer, what will happen?
check your mouse set up.

Hi guys, I have tried it with my sound disabled in the device manager and after like 10 minutes the same thing happened again.

Also I dunno which one(pyshically) of my usb slot is 2.0, I know there are 2 enhanced which is stated in the device manager, but I dunno which one, also this copperhead is really annoying when reinstalling and plugging into different usb slots, sometimes it just don't want to work.

Also I thinking it could be because I have 4 extra USB slots(PCI) attached below (not a USB hub). Could that be the problem?? I am gonna try taking them out later.
