Hi...I am trying to use a tv as a lcd and i hhave a problem....everytime I restart the pc....I recive images form the bios boot screen but after the Windows loading screen the tv turns blank...why??

1. assuming you are connecting via vga/dvi, and also assuming your video card has 2 outputs, are you sure you have the primary video port connected to the tv, and not the secondary?

2. unsupported resolution? Dig up an old tube monitor, boot it up with that installed, then check the resolution. I had to do this when i was monkeying around with the resolution on mine... you could try safe mode first, but that did not work for me.

Go to the advanced startup options (F8 while your system is booting) and select "VGA compatibility mode". At least I think that's what it's called. That will start Windows at 640x480 and from there you can set your desired resolution.

yup, your trying to run your tv at an unsupported resolution and it don't like it. You could also boot safe mode F5 and set your res to one supported by your panel. You need to dig out your panel info booklet and see what its native resolution is as this will be the BEST quality output otherwise it will scale and will probably look fuzzy and ugly.
