Diagnostics Software

I need to check if I have any problems with my HDD. I have a Seagate and they produce some software SeaTools, but it only works for 32-bit systems at the moment. There is a crack but I would rather have a working piece of software so I know that any problems that occur are with the HDD, not the software.

So does anyone know of any decent, free Diagnostics software for Hard Drives?
