ok, so lets get right down to it. my current system specs are below, but i found a really good deal on a mobo, processor and ram. An MSI K9A2 CF-F motherboard, 2 gigs of Super Talent DDR2 800 ram that's nasty for overclocking, and an F3 stepping Athlon X2 3800+ processor that can hit upwards of 3.2 on air (i have liquid cooling so i'm fine in that aspect)
so now here's my question. does anyone know how high you can take the front side bus on the MSI K9A2 CF-F motherboards and it still be stable. I know the processor overclocks like a beast, and the ram can hit upwards of 1000 mhz and still run really tight timings cuz i've built a couple systems with that ram and processor before, but my only real doubt is the motherboard (cuz i have no real exerience with it). i've looked at reviews and all that, but i can't seem to find anything concrete. anyone out there that knows of at least 2 or 3 reviews that could help me out with my dilema.
just in case info: i'll be reusing the rest of my rig when i upgrade, but i might get a 3870 x2 this summer (maybe even get them in xfire, which is why i want an ati chipset), depending on price points cuz the video card i have now is more than fine for the games i play, even with AA and AF on (as in more than 50 FPS)
thanks in advance
