More Information

I have unhooked everything other than the 1 GB memory in slot B1 and the 7800 GT graphic card, and still am having the same results. I am getting the green light on the motherboard so I assume my 550 w power supply is good. When I plug the 24 pin power and the 4 pin 12v power I do not get any response at all. I unplugged the 4 pin power and everything fires up except the blue power light on my monitor blinks on and off and nothing further happens. I know the 4 pin has to be hooked up, but it is weird nothing happens. I know the cpu (AMD FX-55) is good because I just pulled it out of my old system.
Thanks for the help.
