Laptop to my tv hdmi fl screen

Hello,
i want to watch my laptop on the tv. iv pluged in the cable the screen comes on the tv but only small. iv tried to change the resolution and download a tv tunner but they arnt workking. any sugestions please

are you cloning or extending the monitor onto your television. Firstly you'll need to match the aspect ratio of the TV to the aspect ratio the resolution is set at, and from there you'll have to set it to a large enough resolution that it will show up on the TV in full screen. Past that the only thing you'll be able to do is disable the screen on the laptop as a monitor and use the tv as your monitor.
