when prime failed, i checked everest for voltage/temps and noticed that my Memory DIMM voltage, NB voltage, and SB voltage were missing (it just disappeared, like it didn't exist). i also checked cpu-z and under memory tab it showed size of 3328 instead of 4028 (2x2gb). under SPD tab slow #2 and #4 it only show 2048 module size, and did not list all the other info like manufacturer, max bandwidth, timing tables, etc as it did before prime failed.

note that this exact same thing with memory happened before at a vcore of 1.387 in bios, and prime failed at ~7hrs. i bumped vcore up a notch and it failed at the 17hrs as stated above. not sure why DIMM voltage was missing in everest or stats in cpuz didn't show up but should i bump up vcore another notch or what should i do?

Temps are maxed at 61 degrees.
425x8 @ 3.4ghz

Specs:
Asus Rampage Formula x48
q6600 g0 1.325 VID
2x2gb gskill ddr2 1000 running @ 2.1v

memory tab it showed size of 3328 instead of 4028 (2x2gb).

Because this is the most RAM that a 32-bit operating system can use.

What video card(s) are you using? (not enough power)

What vcore did you bump it to?

What CPU cooler are you using? (61c is too hot IMO- 60c max)

Why are you using a 8x multiplier and pushing the FSB so much?

Have you tried 380x9 = 3.42ghz ?

I thought vista 32 bit can read 4gb. but anyways when i restart it shows the full 4gb.

video card is ati 4850

vcore in bios is 1.4, cpuz shows 1.376
cpu cooler is Xigmatek hdt-s1283. and g0 stepping is 70c max.
i read higher fsb would be faster than same clock at higher multiplier, would going 380 make me use less vcore voltage?

Splendid
The BIOS will show 4GB installed, as 32-bit OS will show a smaller amount visible to it, as some of the 4GB of total addresses are used up by hardware, leaving fewer than 4GB left for the RAM.

Since PRIME95 is showing errors, there are almost certainly also errors/corruption in the OS, everest, etc. Once you get a stable overclock, don't forget to reinstall Windows and any other software so you can be sure you've got uncorrupted versions.
