I bought a Soyn Ericsson GC82 card. I took the sim card out of my Treo
600--I have an unlimited PDA plan with Cingular--- put it inside the
card and was able to connect and browse the web but only through CSD. I
cannot get it to work (connect yes but not browse) with an EDGE/GPRS
profile. I am afraid that using CSD may use up my minutes, although I
see no evidence of that when I check my usage online. I want the GC82
to work with EDGE/GPRS but something is happening that I cannot connect.
Is it because I don't have a laptop data plan and only a PDA plan?
Why am I able to connect through CSD and not through EDGE GPRS? Any
ideas or solutions will be much appreciated.
