Athlon 64 6400 Black Edition What MoBo

Hi,

Needing some good advice on what MoBo to buy with this Processor that i have purchase already.

Retail Boxed AMD X2 Dual Core AM2 Athlon 64 6400 Black Edition 3.2GHz 2x1MB Socket AM2 No CPU Cooler

I am a gamer so would like a top end Motherboard with good reviews, must have SLI option, would like NVIDIA chipset.
willing to pay upto or around £150:00 mark.

Now i been searching for a while but everytime this one is catching my eye...

Is there any reason why i should'nt buy this M/B ??

Is there somthing out there better @ that price ??

Thats a pretty decent choice; unless you have a 1207FX and want to drop $300+ (god knows how much over there) on a 600 series.

I can't see a reason why your selection should be a problem...

Thanks for the reply, it's mind blowing when you want to get it right and not waste your money saying only a week later i should of lol.

I payed £100 for the 6400, was going to Quad Core but thought hard whats the point at lower specs per core and here mainly for gaming side and some dual applications. so went on the duel side. Dont know if i made the right choice there

btw $300 USD roughly is just to half it so would be around £150.
