Hi all

I cant use my Patriot memory in Dual Channel with my MOBO P5N-E SLI.
My system is freezing when I use dual Channel
I checked the issue using memtest86, I tested both mem separated and together (without dual channel) and it passed in all tests, but when I tried to use in Dual Channel mode memtest86 shows too many errors.

Memory Model - Patriot PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB (2x 2GB) 5-5-5-12


Please help me with this.

In BIOS set the memory voltage to Mfg. specs, 2.0-2.1v. Also set the timings in BIOS. If that doesn't solve the problem increase the voltage to the NB. HTH. Your MB manual has an outline of your BIOS settings.

Hi All,

Now it is working! My memory passed in all tests made by memtest86.
I set up:
timings in BIOS 5-5-5-12;
AI Tuning = manual;
Memory Voltage = 2.013v
NB Core Voltage = Auto
FSB Memory Clock = Unlinked

PS.: MrsBytch, How can we check our automatic ram voltage?
