IF I go with the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Processor For $245 , would it be worth speding the extra $30 and getting Q6600 ??

How much performance gain is thr from the E6750 to the E8400 * again thats near the cost of Quad?????

Don't even consider the E6750(65NM) because it has a lower clock and compared to the E8400(45NM)is more energy efficent and the E6750 runs hotter than E8400 because it goes through 65NM manufacturing process. What are you going to use it for though?

$245 for the E8400 is not worth it at the moment. The price should be $200.
