Philips e-box test jumper

I have a Philips FTR9955 ebox tuner which I got very cheap new old stock for
33.60 usd.
It powers up and looks for a philips plasma display and when it doesn't find
one shuts off, I do get a few seconds of picture which can be extended for
some time if i press the +CH on the remote.
I don't have a plasma display but would like to use the tuner.
After talking to customer service the tech says there is a test jumper but
he will not tell me where or what.
Does anyone know where it is and what this test jumper is labeled ?
I've found six jumpers three labeled 2.3 and three labeled 1.9 the three 2.3
jumpers are on and the three 1.9 are off.
