Hello all.
I recently formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP Home edition on my old computer and now most of the hard drive space is missing.
I have a total of a 70 Gig hard drive. It has a 6 gig partition, which I used to installed Windows XP on (I believe it came like that when I bought it). But now I cannot see or use any of the non-partitioned space like I could before. This leaves me with essentially a tiny 6 gig hard drive.
I can delete the partition but when I go to do that I get a warning that says this is a "system partition." So I didn't do it and I came here instead.
Should I delete this partition and just reinstall Windows. Or should I install Windows on the unpartitioned space? I'm not very computer saavy, so I really have no idea what to do. Any help is appreciated.
