ok supposedly the specs are as follows

core clock: 740MHz
stream processors: 128
Memory Clock Speed: 1980MHz
Memory Bandwidth: 63.6GB/sec
shader clock speed: 1835MHz

i have the regular version and these are my specs

core clock: 670 MHz
stream processors: 128 (i believe)
Memory Clock Speed: 972MHz
Memory Bandwidth: 62.2GB/sec
shader clock speed: 1674MHz

now my question is, how is it possible for them to get the memory clock spped to 1980 when mine is 972?? am i missing something or?

the memory clock is actually 990 for the top card your mem clock speed is the actual clock speed the top cards mem clock speed is effective to get the effective just double your actual clock speed which gives 944 my mem is running at 1100 actual which gives me 2200 effective

If you have the regular version I believe you have 96 stream processors.

don't you mean 8800 GT. I didn't think they were coming out with any overclocked versions of 8800 GTS 512?

I stand corrected...a quick trip to evga.com took care of that.
