First off, what is the Amps on the +12V rail(s) on the PSU?? and what Brand?

Anyways, for that price, I'd look into a 8800GT 256/512 or HD3850/HD3870

Wow for that price the 8600GTS definitely isn't worth it. You'd at least want to get a 8800GT 512 or a HD 3870 512. The 8600GTS isn't even worth $100, considering the 2900GT is only $115 and is a lot better, not to mention the 2900Pro is only $130.

I'm basing this on prices in the States though, so if it's just a matter of conversion rates then what I'm saying is pretty much correct, but I don't know if they really up the price over there or not. Either way, for that kind of money, the 8600GTS is garbage.

I believe the 8800 GT is 9 inches long so not sure if those cards will fit ? My HD3870 is prettty long too...

with 9 inches of space you need a little bit of extra wiggle room for the power connectors?

Those are good choices though... HD3850 is a good buy also for the price...

no because they would require more than 22A on the 12v, just upgrade the card to an x1950pro, even a 7900gs, or something like that from ebay
