Hi and thank-you for your earlier suggestions...
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] heck-screw

So switching to the Gigabyte P-35 DS3R Mobo and staying with Antec Nine Hundred Gamer Case, Core 2 Duo E6850 and Enermax All in One 535W psu. I hope I have enough leads to power the 4 body fans?

Can you recommend some memory?

Any thoughts?
Is 1066 worth it in this system or will it be unnoticeable and I should go with the DDR2 800?
The processor says retail so I can assume it will come with a fan right?
Will I need thermal paste as I see some others have ordered?

Any other comments about the build are appreciated.
Thanks

Why an E6850 when the E8400 Wolfdale was just released? Retail comes with a fan but you'd be well off to get a brand name heatsink and some thermal compound.

Get DDR2-800 Crucial Ballistix.

E8400 outperforms E6850.

The store I'm ordering from doesn't have that e8400 processor yet I believe or I would get it...

You can always call them to see when they will arrive. Otherwise, there are other retailers in canada you can order from. I got my entire system from NCIX.com, based in Vancouver and have E8400's in stock. AND, you can always price match the other website.

Contact the store, they will have it. Replaced my Q6600 with it after doing some research. My son can use the quad for now. The E6850 outperforms a Q6600 at many tasks, and the E8400 outperforms the E6850 at everything. Newegg and microcenter have the E8400.
