Hello,

I am not sure this is the right fourm but here goes.

I have a Pc Power 750 psu
Asus M2n-SLI Deluxe
amd 5000+ BE

My question is I have been getting weird voltage spikes from a few times a week to several a day. I use Pc Probe II and cpuid hardware monitor and they both show the spikes. I have gotten Vcore spikes to 6v, 12volt spikes to 17. I have reinstalled the programs several times to see if I got a bad download, it just seems odd I get them on both programs. Anyways it shows my cpu temp max @ 207c at the voltage spike.....

I have put up a post on Asus site and have emailed Pc Power.

Thanks in advance for any help

It has to be a problem with the software, as 200c would melt the cpu, and they shut down at 70-80c, also a power supply can only put out 12V, so I would have to say that either the software is not able to read the sensors, or it just receives bad info from them.

Have you tried speed fan? http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
