hi i need help overclocking plaese.

My pc specs.
Motherboard .asus p5n-d
Cpu Pentium D 2.80
Gpu Geforse 8800GT expertVision
OCZ pc2 6400 1gig dual ch platinum revision 2
Power easy cool 450 w.

and i have lapd my cpu.
temp seems fine at 36c idol and 58-64 gaming.

so far i have set FSB from 800 mhz to 952 and i get 3.33
and mem from 800 to 806 and it seems faster.

i also set mem timings from auto to 4-4-4-15 and 2 clocks.
i dont know wot to set voltages to. i read its supost to be 2.1 but in my bios options
it shows a list of like 1.089 and so on. the nearest i think would be 2.1 would be 2.010 or is it 2.110 i just dont know.

as for overclocking the 8800 gt. i never noteis any difrence.

and how i test to see if my performance is any better. is playing dirt. same trak and car.

The OCZ Plat. v2 can be clocked between 1.9v - 2.0v. You should be fine if you keep it at 2.0v. Your BIOS is probably defaulting to 1.8v.

Im not familiar with Pent. D overclocking, but if you are at 3.33ghz, use Prime95 v. 25.6 to do stability testing.

Use EVGA Precision to overclock your 8800GT. It has a built in status indicator that will tell you GPU speed, temp and frames per sec in Game.

Thanx for the replys people. oh and i have 2 gig of ocz not 1.
and i cant make head or tail of these programs for overclocking and stuff.
maybe im just to fick. but ill keep trying to get beter performance.
i restet all my voltages back to auto set fsb from 952 to 900 that givs me 3.15 and set ddr back to 800.
seems beter than befor. im not sure how to benchmark but what i do is put colin mcrae dirt on and use the same trak and car and then alter settings and see if its less jolty and freezy upy lol. sega rally revo just seems to be crapy all the time any way even if i lower the craphics to lowest. and grid i have no complaints. it runs fine all on ultra.

bet thers no way to overclock my pay as you go 3 modem. i only get ping of about 150 - 200 on FPS's
