Hope someone can help me. I am a first time builder. When I put my 8800gt in slot 1 of my 780I my monitor will not turn on. If I move the card to either slot 2 or 3 it tells me that I need to move the card to slot 1. I can't work my keybord or get into the bios. Someone please help.

Probably defective motherboard. Try RMAing it.

What do you mean by your monitor doesn't turn on? Does it say no signal or does it not power up?

I fixed it. I took the mobo battery out and left it for 5 mins or so. That reset the CMOS and it worked when i hooked it back

Damn I wish someone would make some good 780i mobo! LOL...I think I'm getting one of these too, and I've heard lots of bad and lots of good...I think it's really a mixed bag. Get the right one, you'll never have problems. Get the wrong one, it'll never work right. That scares me. =/
