hi. i just hooked up an Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP mobo, i think it says ver. 2.0, and it is cool, except that it came up w/ one problem. My Zerotherm btf90 hsf is going at 2657rpm, and it used 2 run at 910rpm on my gigabyte ga-p35-ds3r rev. 1.0 board. On speedfan, the temps are great, cpu = 30c, and system = 36c. But on AUX, the temp is 127c, and i don't know what that is. My gigabyte p35-ds3r board had speedfan cpu2 in that place, and always read temp = 2c (i never knew what it meant), but the hsf ran for gigabyte board at 910rpm, not like this 2657rpm on the p5k deluxe/wifi guy. maybe anyone knows what AUX means on speedfan, and why the AUX would be at 127c temp. It seems like this AUX high temp is connected 2 why the hsf runs at 2657rpm. If y'all could help me out, it would be appreciated. I could dump this p5k deluxe/wifi board back 2 where i got it, no hassle, but i would like 2 debug it. my asus bios (came w/ the board) is 1.06.69, and the new one at asus site is 0809, so this bios is pretty new/ good. My cpu is e6320, and it can go up to 3750mhz oc, but w/ the hsf issue, i didn't try 2 oc the asus board. Any lil bit would do/ help. Take er easy, tom L.
