I should be able to negotiate the shipping down to something reasonable, like $7-9. Would it be worth it for this price?

Or would this be a better idea? I am just pepping up a S939 computer to enable it to last to 2012.

Edit. I'm pretty sure the 3600+ is OEM, so there is no fan. Tack on another $13 to it.

So we have 87 vs. 74.

Please also evaluate sellers.

Don't get me wrong i like my 939pin AMD 4200+ with 2x7900gtx's and 2 gigs of fast ddr400 memory. it served me very, very well, but its had its day :D

I can get my 4200+ to 2.8ghz but it still can't come close to my Intel Q6600.

If you are doing anything more than the basic stuff on your 939pin AMD i don't see how it could make it to 2012. :ouch:

A cheap Intel core 2 CPU/Motherboard bundle would go a long way to giving you more performance then an old AMD 3800+.
