This has happened twice now.  My screen goes checker board and i get this msg when i exit the game.  When i finally get to the desktop my screen is overly green and 640*480.

Im using a 8800gt ko and nvidia .28 (beta) drivers for xp.

Should i go with non beta drivers?  Anyone else have this happen?

Thanks

Just looked in event viewer and found this

"The driver nv4_disp for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates a problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates."

Sounds like either a defective card or overheating issues. What are your temps?

I usually up my fan to around 70-75 for 3d games and ive never seen it go above 75c.  I was playing some Painkiller (older game not real demanding) when it happened.  Ive went through crysis, cod4, bioshock, ut3 and Gears of war with no problems (all very demanding).

Ive had the card for about 2 months now.

Thanks
