Hello, I am new to the forums, and after searching for a guide on building my own laptop I stumbled upon this site. I thought this would be a nice way to get feedback and make sure i got all the necessary parts before building. I have built many desktops in the past, mostly for gaming. My most recent build being last summer. As for building a laptop I am not as interested in gaming with it as i prefer to do gaming on my desktop, but i wouldn't mind having a capable laptop to game on if I wanted. So after searching through various websites this is what i came up with.

The site i used for purchases was avadirect.com. I looked at the site that was given in the DIY guide for notebooks, but they didnt have a whole lot.

The barebone notebook i decided to go with was the:
ASUS, S96S Coreā„¢2 Duo VBI Notebook Barebone
http://www.avadirect.com/product_d [...] ?PRID=8893

It looked to be a pretty good price with a slot for Core 2 Duo, with nice graphic card capability. There in lies my question, i could not tell if the barebone included the graphics card or not. It only had the one listed in the Graphics card slot, so i couldnt tell if it came with it or thats the only compatible graphics card.

For the processor i went with the T7500 2.2Ghz 4mb L2 Cache, 800Mhz FBS. It was actually cheaper than the t7300 and obviously better.

For ram i went with G.Skill 2gb PC2-5400. I have had good luck with G.Skill in the past so thats why i went with that one.

I guess those are the essential things needed. I went with a 120gb hard drive. Intel 3945abg wireless adapter, and a Samsung DVD-RW combo drive.

If you have any advice on better parts or a better website that would be great. The main things i am looking for are, if looking at the website you can tell me if the graphics card comes with the barebones, and if i have everything necessary to build. Thanks a lot for your help.
