help, i need settings for 3.3ghz on a ga-x48-dq6

Hello all,

i've just built a really nice system.

q6600 core 2 quad
2 X ati radeon hd 4870's 512mb gddr5 (crossfired)
8 gig of corsair ddr2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5
arctic cooling freezer 7 (heatsink)
proxstream 1000w sli ready psu
gigabyte x48-dq6 mainboard
antec 9 gaming case

I can clock the cpu to 3.0ghz with 1 setting in bios it has the (M.I.T) settings in it.
This runs great, but i've loked everywere to get stable 3.3ghz settings, can't find any.
So please if any one has got good stable settings over 3.0 ghz, i'd be very happy to hear from you

What are your o/c settings in mit?

All of the settings are auto as the MB intelligent tweaker (mit), have done them for me. However wen i up the multiplyer it changes some settings, but wont post

That guide is for the P35-DS3L but the main OCing settings (ie voltages, CIA,etc) should be the same/smiler on the DQ6.

As far as "Auto" goes it's not very reliable. It provides too much or too little voltage.

EVERY mobo will be different.....you have to see what your limit it....all you can do is get a baseline and try and see what works on your system

auto doesn't always cut it. Try manual. If you have read the sticky in o/c forum, try Deton's suggestion for the same cpu & mobo at:

Then work your way up to ~3.6Ghz.
