ASUS P4P 800-e Deluxe Hard Drive Limitations

I am using The P4P800-e Deluxe with a 160 gig drive. Would like to
swap out with a 500gig Western Digital, due to home videos. Anyone aware if this size of hard drive will be okay

  1. That is an 865P chipset if I remember correctly, you will have no trouble with that combination. Just be sure that if you are using Windows XP, that you are using SP1 or higher so that you can format the entire volume. The original release of XP was limited to 128GB for a single partition.
