I recived my new psu today from newegg then put installed it in my pc once i turned it on i got 1 long 2 short beep error code. from what i have read its a video card issue (9600gt)but iv put in my old video card (7900gs) and it still give me this error. I have tried putting back my old PSU and all of a sudden its still giving me this error iv tried many things to try and get it to work. Be in mind everything was working just perfectly fine before my new psu just came in delivery from ups.

MB : asus m2n4-sli
2x512mb ddr2
Gfx :9600gt

Do either of those video cards require an auxillary 6-pin power connection?

Just for the heck of it, if you can get access to another system, try plugging your vid cards into it and see if you can replicate the error.

okay i think i fixed it i just slowly started taking out all my ram sticks one by one eventyually all of them out then put one in and the pc started up.
