Easy to install decent heatsink ?

Im currently building a new rig with a Q9550 processor and and Asus Rampage Formula X48 mb. I have never setup an aftermarket heatsink so im a little worried about somehow damaging my gpu/mb/cpu.

Any suggestions for a decent aftermarket heatsink thats pretty effective, pretty easy to set up, and relatively failsafe (aka wont easily fall off and crush something) ?

I have no issues getting aftermarket clips or anything for it, I just want to be a little overcautious thats all.

(oh and for my Case its an Antec 1200)

somehow damaging gpu with a cpu cooler...

anywho, i recommend the xigmatek HDT-S1283 but make sure you get the retention bracket its like $5 or $6... or alternatively the lower performing zalman CNPS9700 or 9500 idk...search around on newegg a bit mate
