For the life of me I cannot figure out why I can't update my BIOS. Abit's BIOS guide is terrible at best. Excuse my naivetés...
I'm using a VIA K8T800 Pro 3rd Eye and Win XP. And the new BIOS is 28.
I create a MS-DOS boot disk using XP but when I boot from it I get an I/O error and it asks to replace the disk and press any key. As far as I can tell the disk works fine, as I thought it might be a bad disk. Apparently the only way to update my BIOS is through DOS. Is there another solution I can use to update my BIOS? Or a workaround?
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks in advance.
