I'm not building this but ordering the parts for a friend with a gaming objective. I'm looking for simplicity in putting it together and cost. Also i have no clue what memory standard is, the SLI mobo has ddr2 800 and the CF mobo has ddr2 1200 do the mobo's support natively 45nm?

the 780i will run the E8400 out of box, the gigabyte on the other hand will most likely require a BIOS update for the computer to POST.

Everything else is fine.

Might want to get a different PSU. I have that one, and while its great quality, it does not have modular cabling in any form, so airflow will be reduced.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm realy looking for a mobo that natively supports 45nm chips because as i said i am not psychically building this, just ordering parts for a friend who lives a state away :S
