Hello,
I get only a white screen after I have switch on the PC

What if you move the LCD around a bit? Is it all white soon as you turn on the laptop? Hook up an external monitor, keyboard and mouse to the laptop, turn it on, and close the lid right away, is the display OK on the monitor?
