Hi.

I just finished putting together my version of the Tom's Reference System and I'm wondering if the DVI outputs are there to work or just a sales gimmick. When I use a DVI-I cable I get no display, only with the VGA adapter. I cannot find a way to go DVI only.

The Viewsonic VP 930 Pro has 3 inputs : 2xVGA+ 1xDVI
The Gigabyte HD 3850 has 2xDVI

Any idea ?

Thanks

Possibly try a different DVI cable to rule out a bad cable.
Try both DVI ports.
Driver update.
RMA.

maybe you have to change the input in the monitor itself. i had to do this manually on my samsung 22" 220wm and diamond hd 3870 the first time. then it started detecting whatever connection i have automatically. try this. also try to use the other dvi port on the graphics card, see if that helps.

Thanks
The VP930P can handle 3 inputs that are switched  by an on-screen menu. I will swap cables to check. But I already tried my 2 monitors on the 2 outputs from the video card. I tried upgrading the driver in windows. Next I will contact Gigabyte... Regards to both of you.
